Lakeside Habitat Snags

Through a neighbor referral we were contacted by a client that had concerns about a few Douglas firs in a wetland area. Conservation Tree Care assessed the trees during a consultation, determined that their health was irreversibly declining, and coordinated creating 45’-50’ tall habitat snags. Habitat snags are a great way to mitigate the hazard of a declining tree, benefit the local ecosystem, and reduce the cost of removal. A true win-win!

What it was like to work with Conservation Tree Care from the client:
“
I am so glad I found the Conservation Tree Care team to help me address three dead and potentially hazardous trees on my property (two of my neighbors had used their services and gave them rave reviews).
I really didn't want to take the trees down, they were located in a critical wetland area and serving as a habitat for tons of birds.
The Conservation Care Team artfully snagged the trees, to remove the dangerous tops, but left natural-looking trunks in place.  So the birds are back and a great blue heron has even taken to perching on the top!  Not only was the Conservation Tree Care Team extremely knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and gave me the most competitive bid, but they also took the time to understand my concerns and create a solution that makes me, my neighbors, and the local wildlife happy!”
