Our goal is to leave the property looking good and to support a healthy environment for trees and shrubs.
Because chips are good for the health of soils and trees. We like to leave chips from your trees on site, as close to the tree(s) as possible, in a garden bed, under a nearby tree, or by a driveway (depending on where we can fit our self propelled chipper).
Leaving chips on site lowers our carbon footprint since we aren’t hauling and disposing of the material. It often allows us to operate with smaller, more efficient vehicles as well.
Leaving chips may or may not impact the cost of the job depending on logistics.
We occasionally have additional chips we can deliver for a small fee in the Skyway/Rainier Beach area. Please contact us if you are interested in being added to our wood chips delivery list.
